Boathouse on Wastwater

Boathouse on Wastwater

The southwest end of Wastwater is much less travelled than that closer to the mountains but affords some glorious views of its own. I love this boathouse tucked away where hardly anyone will ever see it and beyond, in the distance, the majesty of Yewbarrow, Kirkfell and Great Gable.

Borrowdale Watermill

Borrowdale Watermill

This fabulous old Watermill is hidden away in the woods beneath Bessyboot and near Seatoller. I have been twice to get this and other images. The first time the river that serviced the mill was in spate and I could not get to a prime photography position, but I could the second. I will most certainly go again.
